Vollsnes Domecamp is the perfect starting point for paddling, fishing, swimming, water activities, hiking – or simply relaxing with nature close by.
The dome offers a comfortable double bed and duvets. If you’re traveling with family or a larger group, there’s room for two extra guests on the sofa bed.
It is placed about 100 meters up from the lake. From here, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the water and surrounding mountains – while still being just a short walk away from the lake.
You can cook meals over an outdoor fire pan, and it also has its own private outdoor area. There are no shower facilities, but guests are welcome to take a refreshing dip in Oppstrynsvatnet!
All equipment, toilet and boats, kayaks and SUP boards are free for use for our guests.

Dome Panorama is beautifully situated about 100 meters above the beach, with stunning views over Oppstryn Lake.
From your dome, it’s just a short walk to the water where you can jump into a boat, kayak, or onto a SUP and paddle out across the crystal-clear lake.
